Introduction:

Stichting DICON International is a non-profit foundation registered in the Netherlands with the aim of promoting sustainable development, climate resilience, human rights, social justice, and poverty reduction globally. As a public-benefit organization, we dedicate our resources exclusively to improving the well-being of vulnerable individuals and communities.
Objective (Statutory Purpose): To provide humanitarian aid, support disaster risk reduction, promote climate adaptation, education, healthcare, and strengthen vulnerable communities worldwide.

Activities (Planned & Initial Phase)

Since DICON International is newly established, the first operational year focuses on foundational development and early-stage programs.
⦁ Planned activities for Year 1

⦁ Establish partnerships with NGOs, local governments, and international bodies
⦁ Develop pilot programs in climate education, community resilience training, Human rights awareness
⦁ Conduct needs assessments in disadvantaged and marginalized regions
⦁ Launch fundraising and donor engagement campaigns
⦁ Develop training materials for human rights and sustainability modules
⦁ Organize online seminars and awareness campaigns

⦁ Implement small-scale community development projects
⦁ Launch climate action and sustainable livelihood programs
⦁ Provide support to vulnerable groups affected by disasters or conflict

⦁ Board members cannot receive financial benefits

⦁ Board decisions require majority approval
⦁ Daily operations may be delegated to staff/volunteers

⦁ Remuneration Policy

Board members: receive no remuneration for their work. They may be reimbursed only for reasonable expenses incurred in carrying out their duties.

Staff/Volunteers: may be compensated according to applicable Dutch laws or collective agreements when employed. Volunteers may receive expense reimbursement.
This strictly follows ANBI regulations on compensation.
